So we haven't updated this in over a month--not for lack of having things to share, but for not having time to share them! We have been blessed with visitors over the last month. First we hosted Grant's parents and nephew for two weeks, and then some Crossroads friends, Courtney, Andrea, and Adam. We've had a great time together.
Grant and I are heading to Delhi today and then to Greece! My mother is from there, so we're meeting her and the rest of my Greek family in Athens. We will also spend some time on the two different islands that my grandparents are from, Paros and Kefelinia. Please say a prayer for safe travel as you think of us. We plan to be back in Manali August 4.
We want to post a few pictures before we get away from the computer for a few weeks. One of the highlights from this past month was organizing and presenting the first youth-led Sunday this church has ever experienced. Our youth worship team practiced faithfully every week in preparation, and did a beautiful job. Two of our youth shared their testimonies (video of Trannum below), some of the youth performed a skit, and Grant gave the message. He charged the church with the responsibility of raising these teenagers up in the truth, and spoke about the kinds of examples we need to be according to Titus and 1 Timothy. We ended the service by praying for the youth. It was an incredible day. God is truly at work in their lives, and our hearts are overflowing for them.
We also want to share a couple of pictures from the sweet time we had with Grant's family:
